Role Summary

This full-time remote position is for a Cost Estimator to support KPA Engineering Private Limited. The incumbent will be tasked with crafting comprehensive cost approximations for engineering initiatives, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and overheads. Daily responsibilities involve examining project specifications and schematics, gathering and validating cost information, and formulating precise budgets and forecasts. Collaboration with project managers and engineering teams is essential for reviewing estimates, tracking cost performance, and advising on cost control strategies. Additional duties include assisting with bid preparations, maintaining cost databases, and generating insightful, data-backed reports that assist stakeholders in decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Expertise in cost management and control to establish and uphold accurate cost structures for projects.
• Proficiency in project estimation and budgeting to develop detailed project financial plans.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess data, evaluate options, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Familiarity with estimation software, spreadsheet applications, and general MS Office tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, numeric precision, and ability to handle complex data sets.
• Effective communication skills and capability to work collaboratively in a remote environment with multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant occupational experience in engineering, construction, or analogous project domains is preferred.
• Educational background such as a degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, finance, or related fields is advantageous.
