Role Summary
The Corporate Director of Hospitality Operations leads the strategic planning, development, and operational management of our rapidly expanding hospitality portfolio. This senior executive role oversees hotels, food and beverage establishments, wellness centers, and destination hospitality assets to create an integrated, high-performance luxury hospitality ecosystem. Reporting to the Group Head of Hospitality, the role blends strategy, development, brand positioning, and operational execution to support our long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth and operational excellence across the hospitality portfolio, aligning asset growth with operational models and brand positioning to foster a scalable, competitive global platform.
- Provide executive oversight to property general managers and senior leaders across hotel operations, rooms, restaurants, bars, wellness, spa programming, and health and safety to ensure cohesive operation and exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with development, design, finance, and technical teams to integrate operational needs, guest journeys, and service infrastructure during the creation of new hospitality assets.
- Lead strategic development and positioning of food and beverage concepts, guiding culinary direction, guest programming, and operational frameworks to enhance the destination's hospitality appeal.
- Manage operational performance across multiple hospitality assets, implementing frameworks that promote consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
- Establish and enforce operational standards, policies, and governance frameworks supporting service excellence, operational discipline, and compliance with brand and regulatory requirements.
- Support the deployment of technology platforms such as property management systems, point-of-sale solutions, guest engagement tools, and reporting systems to boost operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, implementing risk mitigation and emergency response strategies suitable for complex environments.
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization, maintaining commercial performance aligned with luxury standards.
- Build and mentor high-performing leadership teams, nurturing organizational capabilities and fostering a culture centered on service excellence, accountability, and innovation.
- Champion innovative guest experiences that uphold the platform's world-class luxury reputation, aligning service delivery and operational design accordingly.
- Lead pre-opening activities for new assets, including operational setup, service models, staffing, and training systems to ensure successful launches.
- Represent the organization in discussions with owners, operators, consultants, and strategic partners to form strong operational alliances and partnerships.
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and regulatory protocols while ensuring operational resilience in dynamic destination contexts.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in luxury or destination hospitality settings.
- Extensive expertise managing multi-property operations or major integrated resorts.
- Strong background in food and beverage strategy, concept creation, and managing luxury dining experiences.
- Robust financial skills including budget management, financial planning, and P&L oversight.
- Proven ability to lead diverse operational units such as hotel operations, rooms, food and beverage, wellness, IT, and safety.
- International hospitality experience is preferred; familiarity with GCC or emerging luxury markets is advantageous.
- Expertise in operating within and developing 5-star FORBES, Michelin-keyed, and Michelin-starred environments.
- Role is ideal for seasoned ultra-luxury hotel managers or general managers demonstrating strategic independence and inspirational leadership.
