About the Role

Embark on a career in sports media with DAZN as a Content Management Assistant within our Platform & Engagement division. Based in Ismaning, Munich, this position offers an entry-level opportunity to significantly impact how sports fans in the DACH region discover and enjoy content.

As part of your daily duties, you will handle content management tasks such as crafting descriptions, tagging assets, choosing images, and ensuring content accuracy and accessibility across live events and highlight reels. Your contributions will directly influence the user experience for subscribers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update precise metadata for content including titles, descriptions, classification tags, team and player details, and broadcast schedules following DAZN's editorial requirements.
• Consistently apply tagging across various attributes like sport type, competition, player and team identifiers, event categories, content formats, and editorial themes to enhance content discoverability and recommendations.
• Choose, upload, and verify visual assets ensuring they meet editorial standards and legal rights compliance.
• Compose clear, engaging German-language descriptions and titles that align with DAZN's tone and reflect factual accuracy.
• Assist in content uploading, publishing, scheduling, and quality control workflows, promptly identifying and reporting any issues.
• Perform thorough quality checks before and after publication for metadata, imagery, descriptions, and links while addressing any errors and noting recurring problems.
• Support live event content updates including coverage of previews, line-ups, highlights, and replays.
• Regularly audit and cleanse content catalogs to maintain high accuracy and quality standards.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess between zero and two years of experience in content management, editorial operations, digital publishing, or a related sector, with internships in digital or sports media viewed positively.
• Have foundational knowledge of metadata, content tagging and classification, and digital asset management.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and publishing processes is advantageous; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Demonstrate a keen interest and knowledge of sports in the DACH region, specifically Bundesliga, Champions League, and other football tournaments.
• Basic proficiency in CMS tools and general content software, with a readiness to learn and adapt.
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic skills in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere or AVID are considered a plus.
• An understanding of how metadata enhances search functionality and content recommendations is beneficial.
• Display meticulous attention to detail coupled with reliability, punctuality, and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Be well-organized, capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
