Role Overview

The Consultant in Data Analytics independently manages, analyzes, and visualizes data sets to aid pharmaceutical and life sciences firms in commercial project execution and integration. The role involves facilitating the implementation and support of solutions designed to boost product launch success and overall commercialization effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data processing, ensuring accuracy while generating unique insights and metrics to produce advanced client reports and presentations.
• Frequently employ programming skills to streamline data processing and reporting activities.
• Independently execute complex analytical tasks, develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data processes within project timelines.
• Operate scheduled processes, troubleshoot issues, and update client deliverables regularly, including ad-hoc requests.
• Communicate with clients to clarify data tasks and maintain aligned expectations for deliverables.
• Translate client needs into actionable project outputs and keep project teams informed about client concerns.
• Coordinate with diverse, global teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Act as the primary client contact for ongoing projects, leading sub-teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery and consistent expectations.
• Present synthesized results to clients and internal stakeholders through clear oral and written communication.
• Mentor and guide Associate Consultants, providing training and oversight.
• Perform additional project-related duties as required by client or team needs.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree accompanied by 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience; a PhD is also acceptable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills acquired through education or experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and time management.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Quick learner with active listening skills and the ability to adapt and collaborate well with others.
• Ability to lead small teams efficiently.
• Intermediate programming knowledge in languages like SAS, Python, R, or VBA, and familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
• Experience with pharmaceutical data sources and domain knowledge is advantageous.

Compensation Details

The salary range is estimated between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, reflecting various factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and organizational requirements. Hiring typically does not occur near the top of the range for new employees.
