About the Role
Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Concierge Agent to become an integral part of our Concierge team. Location and Facilities
Situated in the heart of Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental offers a distinctive Arabian luxury experience featuring a 1.3 km private beach, landscaped pools, a private marina facing a natural bay, and one of the city’s largest hotel conference centers. Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient responses to guest inquiries and requests, including making reservations for tours, dining, or transportation, providing directions, and confirming flight details, referring complex requests to appropriate staff as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about hotel services, local attractions, dining options, transport, recreational facilities, places of worship, and shopping to assist guests effectively.
- Handle and document all incoming and outgoing mail, messages, faxes, and parcels addressed to guests and employees according to established hotel protocols.
- Manage guest luggage storage upon request, ensuring all items are handled carefully.
- Sell postage stamps for postcards and letters to guests.
- Keep the concierge desk area clean and organized, restocking brochures, magazines, and maps for guest use.
- Send faxes on behalf of guests during Business Center closure hours.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a similar concierge role within a luxury hotel setting is preferred; experience in resort environments is advantageous.
- Professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Physically capable and able to remain standing for prolonged durations.
