About Crown and the Role
Located in Roundwood, County Wicklow, Crown is a leading full building envelope contractor in Europe, specializing in roofing, cladding, and façade solutions across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. We collaborate with top-tier technology, life sciences, infrastructure, and manufacturing clients to deliver complex projects in hyperscale and mission-critical environments. As our business expands, we are seeking an organised and proactive Compliance Officer to join our Compliance & Risk team based in Roundwood, with occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain records related to employee compliance, including training matrices and certification databases.
- Track expiry dates for licenses, training, and competencies, coordinating timely renewals.
- Facilitate the international mobilisation process, managing work permits, visas, A1 certificates, and right-to-work documentation across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
- Manage onboarding and ongoing compliance monitoring of subcontractors, reviewing documentation such as insurance, training, competency certificates, and health & safety records.
- Prepare and submit client prequalification documents and manage uploads to client compliance portals.
- Coordinate compliance documentation specific to projects to support mobilization.
- Contribute to maintaining company accreditations such as ISO Management Systems, Achilles, Safe-T-Cert, Constructionline, CHAS, SafeContractor, Avetta, and EcoVadis.
- Maintain compliance tracking systems, reports, document control, and follow-up action logs.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and external agencies.

- Previous experience in administration, coordination, or compliance roles

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Robust document management and administrative expertise
- Professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- Background in construction or engineering sectors
- Familiarity with ISO Management or quality management systems
- Experience supporting workforce mobilisation activities
- Knowledge of subcontractor onboarding and compliance management
- Understanding of certification and accreditation schemes
- Third-level qualification in Business Administration, Compliance, Construction Management, or related disciplines desirable, with relevant experience also valued
