  • Develop engineering playbooks, reusable frameworks, coding templates, checklists, and technical documentation practices.
  • Audit and monitor coding standards adherence through reviews, automated quality checks, and governance assessments.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging software methodologies, programming languages, AI-assisted development tools, low-code platforms, and quality technologies for continuous advancement.
  • Track performance indicators such as code quality scores, technical debt, review completion rates, defect density, security vulnerabilities, deployment success, developer productivity, code coverage, and compliance.
  • Conduct software quality audits, architecture assessments, maturity evaluations, risk analyses, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure alignment with secure software standards like ISO 27001, OWASP Secure Coding Practices, NIST SSDF, organizational policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Manage budgets, tooling platforms, developer enablement programs, governance projects, and strategic engineering initiatives.
  • Drive digital innovation using AI-powered code analysis, automated reviews, intelligent testing, productivity analytics, workflow automation, and BI solutions.
  • Leverage tools such as GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Veracode, Snyk, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, and management platforms to optimize quality and insights.
  • Create executive dashboards, quality reports, compliance assessments, governance reviews, risk analyses, performance metrics, and strategic advice for senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor architects, senior developers, DevOps engineers, quality engineers, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), IT, or Enterprise Architecture is highly preferred.
  • Certifications like Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), AWS Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, TOGAF, Scrum Master, PMP, or equivalents are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in software engineering, architecture, application development, DevOps, QA, or related areas.
  • At least 2 years in roles overseeing software engineering teams, governance programs, code quality initiatives, or development standards preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of software engineering concepts, coding standards, architecture, secure coding, DevSecOps, CI/CD, app security, testing, version control, and quality management.

  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, governance, project management, organizational, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple quality initiatives addressing software quality, security, scalability, performance, compliance, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ability to work efficiently in remote, distributed teams across engineering, architecture, product management, security, executive leadership, vendors, and global stakeholders; occasional travel for workshops, reviews, leadership meetings, conferences, and planning as needed.
