Position Summary

We seek a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Coordinator to join our Townsville clinic on a permanent part-time basis. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, facilitating clinic operations, and supporting clients’ hearing health journeys.

Work Schedule

  • Week 1: Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:06 PM
  • Week 2: Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:06 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the clinic environment is orderly and welcoming, providing a superior experience to clients.
  • Manage client appointments through phone, email, and scheduling systems while effectively handling multiple software platforms.
  • Deliver basic support for hearing devices, including cleaning, battery changes, and Bluetooth setup (training provided).
  • Participate in community outreach activities such as site visits, promotions, and expos to enhance brand presence.
  • Maintain clinic inventory, process orders, handle invoicing and point-of-sale transactions, and verify client eligibility for various funding programs.
  • Engage with clients empathetically to quickly respond to inquiries and proactively support their needs.
  • Collaborate efficiently with clinicians, hearing technicians, and other team members to manage front-desk operations independently.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in administration or customer service within retail, hearing care, pharmacy, or allied health is preferred.
  • Experience interacting with older adults is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with empathy for client needs.
  • Basic computer proficiency is preferred; willingness to learn new technology is encouraged.
