Job description
Role Overview
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of external areas daily through litter picking and sweeping. It includes routine deep cleaning of hard surfaces, keeping drains clear of leaves and debris, and ensuring cleanliness in offices and workshops to a specified high standard.
Key Duties
- Perform daily litter picking and sweeping of entrances, pathways, and hard surfaces.
- Conduct routine deep cleaning tasks in outdoor spaces and drains.
- Carry out reactive cleaning of internal office, workshop, toilets, and kitchenette areas as specified by supervisors.
- Collaborate with clients and client contacts to meet service expectations effectively.
- Work cooperatively within a team environment, taking initiative to uphold cleaning standards.
- Follow directions from supervisors and managers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in reviewing work schedules with cleaning supervisors.
- Regularly complete quality audits and reports as per company requirements.
- Lead by example demonstrating strong cleaning knowledge and standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is necessary.
- Experience managing a team and capable of enforcing health and safety standards and procedures.
