Role Overview

As part of the expansion of the tram network, Edinburgh Trams offers a permanent full-time opportunity in their Engineering team within the System Presentation Team. The primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness standards of trams, tram stops and depot facilities to ensure optimal presentation for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties across the tram system, including trams, stops, and depot buildings.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and ensure appropriate handovers when necessary.
• Complete both scheduled and reactive cleaning activities promptly and in accordance with quality standards.
• Provide support during events and undertake additional relevant duties as required.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role working five nights over seven, scheduled between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week. Part-time arrangements may be negotiated.

Candidate Profile

• Essential: Hold a UK driver's license with no more than three penalty points.
• Organized and tidy work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation.

Desirable qualifications and skills include prior cleaning experience with detailed focus, knowledge of cleaning chemical handling, storage, and disposal procedures, and general education at SCQF level 4 or equivalent.
