Job Overview

This full-time cleaning position requires performing various janitorial and housekeeping tasks at a healthcare facility located in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. Candidates will engage in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the premises, including floors, fixtures, and common areas. On-site presence is mandatory as remote work is not an option.

Work Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish different types of flooring surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances thoroughly.
• Perform cleaning and disinfecting of elevators to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Collect debris and empty trash containers regularly to maintain orderliness.
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as part of routine cleaning duties.
• Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain hygienic standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No formal educational certificates or degrees are required.
• On-the-job training will be provided to new hires.
• Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication.
