Cleaner / Custodian - Day Shift

Role Overview

Uline is hiring a day-shift Cleaner / Custodian to help keep its facilities clean, organized, and operating smoothly. This role covers warehouse, office, yard, and outdoor areas, with the goal of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the site.

Shift Schedule

• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Both shifts run Monday through Friday, with no overnight work.

Key Duties

• Carry out sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other routine cleaning tasks for racks, the yard, and the building.
• Handle trash removal and compact corrugated scrap materials.
• Keep restrooms clean and stocked.
• Use floor-cleaning equipment such as electric or propane scrubbers, along with other janitorial tools.
• Prepare employee work areas and reset them after use.
• Help arrange and clear meeting spaces before and after events.
• Support general labour and cleaning tasks as needed to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning work is required.
• Good focus and a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $27 to $31 per hour, with strong growth potential and opportunities to increase earnings.
