About the Role

We invite compassionate individuals to join our Hertsmere and South Hertfordshire team as Care Assistants, offering meaningful and rewarding work that positively impacts people's lives. This role involves providing community-based care in areas including Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Elstree, Radlett, Shenley, Bushey, and surroundings. A full driving licence and personal vehicle are essential due to the nature of the rounds.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support clients with medication preparation and administration.
  • Assist with mobility needs, including the safe use of aids and devices.
  • Provide mealtime assistance such as preparing food and feeding if necessary.
  • Carry out light household tasks, including laundry, bed making, and light cleaning.
  • Deliver personal care assistance: washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
  • Offer companionship through meaningful interactions and emotional support.
  • Additional tasks include collecting prescriptions, monitoring health, promoting social inclusion, maintaining accurate records, ensuring safety, and collaborating with other care professionals and families.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranging from £14.70 to £16.50 plus 30p per mile for travel.
