Business Risk Manager

Role and Responsibilities

The Business Risk Manager will be an integral part of Revolut's first line of defence within the risk team. This role involves analytically shaping sustainable growth strategies aligned to operational risk frameworks and advancing the organization's risk management capabilities. Key duties include:

• Identifying, evaluating, documenting, and regularly reviewing business risks.
• Designing, implementing, and validating controls that mitigate operational risks.
• Formulating and testing essential procedures to support risk mitigation.
• Developing and maintaining key risk indicators to monitor risk levels effectively.
• Logging risk events and managing the delivery of comprehensive risk incident reports.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• An undergraduate degree with a minimum 2:1 classification from a respected university.
• At least two years of experience handling operational risk management within the financial services sector.
• Proven expertise in identifying risks, overseeing monitoring mechanisms, and executing control implementations and validations.
• Ability to interpret and systematically organize complex datasets effectively.
• Demonstrated achievements including success in competitive environments, whether academic, professional, or sporting.
• Capability to take on responsibilities quickly and efficiently.
• Methodical and well-organized work style.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
