Overview
An HCM transformation program is in motion, bringing rostering, payroll, and HRIS together into one unified platform. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the functional workstream of this initiative. This is a practical, delivery-focused role within a lean team of ten, contributing across five streams of work.
Your requirements output will underpin the rest of the program. Clear, complete, and traceable functional requirements will be essential for design, configuration, integrations, data migration, and testing. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Technical Lead, and Technical Business Analyst, while also partnering with subject matter experts and operational stakeholders across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, challenge, and confirm requirements across HR, payroll, and rostering activities
- Convert business needs into well-structured requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria that can be tested
- Preserve end-to-end traceability from business need through design, build, configuration, and testing
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure functional requirements support integrations and data mapping needs
- Assist with functional design, user acceptance testing, and change tasks through to cutover
Candidate profile
We are looking for someone with hands-on business analysis experience on HCM or HRIS transformation programs, ideally involving platforms such as Dayforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, or comparable systems. You should understand HR, payroll, and rostering or workforce management processes, and be able to produce requirements that technical and testing teams can use without needing significant rework. Strong facilitation skills are important, especially when working with frontline, corporate, and technical stakeholders.
