Role Overview

The Boutique Tailor Master will be responsible for creating premium garments for women, from initial pattern work through to the completed outfit. The role calls for strong technical ability, careful finishing, and a sharp eye for fit and presentation. Experience working with lehengas, gowns, dresses, sarees, and bridal wear will be especially valuable.

What You Will Do

• Create and stitch luxury ethnic and western garments for women.
• Prepare patterns from design ideas or body measurements.
• Cut fabric accurately and handle garment assembly with precision.
• Complete stitching and finishing to a high-quality boutique standard.
• Carry out alterations and make fitting corrections as needed.
• Collaborate with the fashion designer during sample development.
• Support and supervise junior tailors while maintaining quality benchmarks.
• Work with delicate and premium fabrics, including complex garment construction.
• Deliver samples and production pieces within agreed timelines.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Deep knowledge of pattern making, cutting, stitching, alterations, and garment construction.
• Ability to independently produce a full garment from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience in womens ethnic wear and western wear.
• Strong understanding of measurements, fit, and garment finishing.
• Prior experience with boutique or designer labels is preferred.

Compensation

The offered salary range is INR 2,00,000 to 5,50,000 per year.
