Role Overview
The Regulatory Solutions team seeks a proactive Bid Coordinator. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at uniting different stakeholders, managing various projects concurrently, and delivering refined, high-quality outputs within a dynamic setting. The preferred location is Wollongong, with Sydney-based candidates considered for a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the bid lifecycle from recognizing opportunities to final tender submission.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Sales, Technical, Legal, Product, and Services to assemble competitive proposals.
- Produce, format, and submit professional tender responses along with any requisite documentation.
- Stay vigilant on government and private tender platforms to identify new prospects.
- Oversee schedules, monitor progress, and ensure all milestones are consistently met.
- Facilitate bid review meetings and manage follow-up actions with all involved parties.
- Maintain accurate bid records, reporting, and proposal archives.
- Analyze bid performance metrics to discover strategies for increasing success rates.
- Continuously refine bid procedures, templates, and working methods for enhanced efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to sales functions, including reporting and maintaining up-to-date information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Approximately two or more years' experience in bid coordination, sales support, proposal management, administration, or project coordination roles.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an aptitude for handling multiple demands simultaneously.
- Strong written communication prowess and meticulous attention to detail.
- Enjoys teamwork and establishing robust working relationships across different teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiastic about enhancing processes and discovering more efficient ways to operate.
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a readiness to engage hands-on in tasks.
- Experience with government tendering or procurement is advantageous but not mandatory.
