Job description
Role Overview
The Bellman will serve as the welcoming face for Residence owners, guests, and vendors at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Diriyah Gate, Riyadh. This position focuses on offering exceptional guest assistance including greeting, escorting, and supporting arrivals and departures while maintaining property accessibility and appearance to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer courteous greetings and escort services for Residence owners, guests, and visitors, assisting with vehicle entry and exit as well as transporting luggage, groceries, and packages.
- Provide directions and detailed information about property facilities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
- Liaise with the Valet Lead to communicate and resolve vehicle-related issues and assist in managing vehicle movement and parking.
- Coordinate the flow of moving and delivery personnel to designated loading areas, ensuring smooth operation and clear access.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, entrances, sidewalks, and luggage carts, including polishing and spill management.
- Prepare accurate logs and documentation related to guest assistance calls, maintenance needs, and resident preferences, submitting reports properly.
- Deliver packages, dry cleaning, groceries, and other parcels appropriately to the ownership.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest service needs, anticipating them where possible and accommodating requests including those from guests with disabilities.
- Adopt correct communication etiquette for telephone and face-to-face interactions, including handling calls, messages, and guest queries with clarity and professionalism.
- Support team collaboration by cooperating with other departments, upholding quality assurance standards, and participating in meetings for operational excellence.
- Safely perform physical tasks such as standing or walking prolonged periods, moving and lifting items up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier items with help, navigating uneven surfaces, and utilizing bending and stretching motions.
- Observe and enforce safety and security protocols, report incidents, and maintain vigilance regarding unauthorized persons or unsafe conditions on the premises.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring confidentiality, uniform standards, and secure handling of company assets.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned to support property operations.
Additional Information
- Work Schedule: Shift rotations include morning, evening, and overnight shifts totaling 48 hours per week; days off vary depending on shift scheduling.
