Bartender

Role overview

Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a bartender to join its hotel team in Dublin. The role suits someone who enjoys a busy hospitality setting, provides warm guest service, and can work confidently behind the bar while supporting revenue growth and a positive team atmosphere.

You will be supported through Dalata Academy training and by experienced colleagues who can help you build your skills. The company also places a strong emphasis on internal progression, so strong performers may be considered for future opportunities.

What you will do

• Welcome regular guests in a personal way and address them by name where appropriate.
• Build a solid understanding of food, wines and other beverages so you can make suitable recommendations.
• Maintain a polite, professional and approachable manner throughout service.
• Look for opportunities to increase sales through upselling and revenue-focused service.

What you need

• Experience in a 3- or 4-star hotel is preferred, though it is not mandatory.
• Background working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
• Experience in a busy food and beverage operation.
• Strong spoken English and good communication abilities.
• Availability to work late shifts and remain on duty until bar closing time.
• Experience with Micros is an advantage.
