About the Role
Join our team in Munich as a Back Office Manager focusing on the technical preparation and publication of digital financial reports. This 18-month temporary contract covers parental leave replacement. No prior knowledge of ESEF, XHTML, or XML is required; rather, we seek candidates driven by curiosity, precision, and enthusiasm to learn a specialized and exciting field.
In collaboration with our team, you will assist publicly listed companies in preparing their financial reports in compliance with European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) standards using XHTML. Additionally, you will convert reports into XML format for publication in the Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette) and company register.
Your Impact
- Prepare financial reports in ESEF-compliant XHTML format.
- Convert financial statements using our proprietary software into XML format for public registry publication.
- Review reports for technical and formal compliance ensuring smooth project execution.
- Develop expertise in handling complex document structures and independently resolve related challenges.
- Implement changes promptly and reliably to existing reports.
- Progressively deepen your knowledge of digital financial reporting and related topics after acclimatization.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory:
- Concentration, precision, and structured work approach.
- Eager to learn new technical and digital processes.
- Proficient in MS Office and general computer programs.
- Autonomous problem analysis and practical solution-finding skills.
- Excellent German communication skills (C1/C2 level).
Desirable:
- Interest in financial reporting or regulatory matters.
- Basic knowledge of HTML or CSS.
- Experience with code editors like Visual Studio Code or Notepad++.
- Familiarity with IFRS standards or a background in economics/finance is advantageous.
