Job Overview

We seek an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer proficient in independently designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. The role demands strong capabilities in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and modern DevOps tools, combined with excellent problem-solving aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, dependable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) including expertise in ISTIO, Network Security Groups (NSG), and Load Balancing concepts.
• Create automation scripts and tools using Python or Bash.
• Design network gateways for ingress and egress with TLS/mTLS using SSL certificates.
• Integrate GenAI concepts to automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Oversee version control and branching strategies via GitLab.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with cloud governance and security best practices.
• Take ownership to independently execute tasks and resolve issues from start to finish.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience of 9+ years in Azure DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure services including AKS, Azure Key Vault, Storage Accounts, NSGs, gateways, and certificates.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and AKS is advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills regarding infrastructure and deployments.
• Effective communication, self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Preferred Credentials

• Azure DevOps Engineer certifications.
• Kubernetes certification.
• Awareness of security best practices, cloud cost optimization, and governance principles.
