AutoCAD Draughtsman - Kitchen Designer

Job Summary

We seek a creative, detail-focused, and client-oriented Kitchen Designer to become a vital part of our expanding team. You will serve as the primary representative of our design studio, transforming client ideas into practical and stylish modular kitchen interiors. At our MSME, versatility is prized, so your involvement spans client consultations, 3D model creation, material advising, and installation coordination.

Key Duties

• Engage with walk-in clients or leads to assess their lifestyle, budget, storage demands, and style preferences.
• Conduct measurements or analyze architectural plans to design optimized kitchen layouts, selecting fitting modules, hardware, and finishes.
• Create 2D floor plans, elevations, and detailed 3D renderings using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or specialized kitchen design software.
• Help clients choose appropriate materials including carcasses, shutters, laminates/acrylic finishes, countertops, handles, and integrated appliances.
• Develop precise and transparent quotations and proposals to facilitate sales and address any client concerns.
• Generate final production drawings like Bill of Materials for manufacturing and collaborate with site teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Between 1 and 3 years’ experience in modular kitchen design, preferably within boutique studios or MSME settings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and advanced 3D rendering software such as SketchUp with V-Ray or 2020 Design.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen ergonomics (including the work triangle), plumbing and electrical layouts, and modular hardware brands like Hettich, Blum, or Hafele.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, combined with patience and problem-solving abilities.
