The Associate Recruiter is part of a fast-paced recruiting team supporting Amazon’s operations vertical in India. This role involves managing full-cycle recruiting activities to fulfill significant hiring demands driven by aggressive growth plans. The recruiter works closely with business leaders to forecast hiring requirements, develop sourcing strategies for both volume hiring and specialized positions, and maintain an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement recruiting plans that align with hiring needs.
- Manage candidate-related administrative tasks including maintaining applicant tracking systems, scheduling interviews, and ensuring current job postings across platforms.
- Develop and sustain an active talent pipeline for future hiring demands.
- Engage and coordinate effectively with recruitment agencies, when applicable.
- Organize and coordinate hiring events, assessments, and interviews.
- Review candidate applications to confirm qualifications match job requirements.
- Act as a liaison between candidates and the organization regarding interview and assessment logistics.
- Coordinate background verification processes with third-party agencies.
- Prepare and transmit candidate documentation to onboarding teams.
- Support hiring managers by participating in follow-up meetings to evaluate recruiting plan effectiveness.
- Provide guidance across personnel levels on talent acquisition and recruitment matters.
Qualifications
- Basic: Minimum 6 months of experience in human resources roles.
- Basic: At least 6 months of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience handling confidential information environments.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in human resources and Microsoft Office proficiency.
