As an Associate Data Scientist, you will engage deeply in crafting AI-enabled features, ensuring data quality, and contributing to next-generation product development through scientific approaches to design, experimentation, and performance measurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to build, test, and implement AI-powered capabilities.
• Address practical challenges using an ethical, human-focused lens.
• Create and maintain robust data pipelines and enhancement workflows based on large language models, alongside evaluation mechanisms.
• Engage in knowledge exchange with engineers, people scientists, and fellow data scientists to elevate skills and solutions.
• Stay informed on the latest research and industry tools to apply best practices effectively in meeting customer needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in classical data science methods including statistics, model development, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), focusing on evaluation metrics and agentic process flows.
• Strong command of SQL, preferably with enterprise databases such as Redshift or Postgres.
• Expertise in Python and relevant libraries like pandas and numpy for data science tasks.
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning frameworks, including expertise in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and model assessment.
• Ability to create insightful data visualizations using tools like plotly, seaborn, and streamlit.
• Familiarity with data modeling and orchestration platforms such as Metaflow or Airflow is advantageous.
• Understanding of software engineering practices including version control, continuous integration, and testing methodologies.
• Formal education in Data Science, Machine Learning, Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
