Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-focused and technologically adept Chartered Accountant to oversee our comprehensive accounting functions and tax compliance. The role demands practical experience with ERP systems such as SAGE Intacct, Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or SAP, and proven capability in ERP implementations to ensure reliable, compliant financial systems that deliver timely business insights.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting lifecycle within ERP (like SAGE Intacct), encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
- Lead ERP implementation and optimization activities, including chart of accounts mapping, module integration, and enhancing system controls.
- Develop and maintain financial internal controls to ensure data accuracy and mitigate leakages.
- Oversee statutory compliance, including timely TDS payments, quarterly return filings, and supporting income tax audits and assessments.
- Handle GST registrations, perform monthly reconciliations comparing GSTR-2B with books, file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns (GSTR-9/9C).
- Coordinate with consultants on Transfer Pricing adherence, maintain documentation such as local and master files, and ensure arm's length pricing for inter-company transactions.
- Ensure prompt monthly and quarterly accounting closure processes.
- Prepare detailed MIS reports covering profit and loss analysis, cash flow statements, and budget variance insights for leadership review.
- Manage statutory and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in SAGE Intacct or similar ERP platforms.
- Strong expertise with MS Excel, including skills with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Practical understanding of domestic and international Transfer Pricing rules.
- Excellent analytical abilities, ability to meet strict deadlines, and strong communication skills for coordination across departments.
