Role Overview

The Inventory Control Analyst is tasked with reconciling inventory levels in third-party logistics (3PL) and consignment warehouses, analyzing reports and KPIs, and resolving discrepancies. Reporting to the Team Leader of Inventory Control, this position plays a key role within the Inventory Control Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Customer Service Department and warehouses to perform weekly inventory reconciliations, documenting variances, initiating corrective actions, and recommending solutions to recurrent issues.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts, performing required adjustments to align system and physical quantities.
• Develop annual budgets for consignment accounts.
• Prepare and analyze various warehouse activity reports and performance indicators for management on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage operational matters influencing inventory control at the warehouse level.
• Assist management in drafting standard operating procedures following GQS guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable inventory control or related position.
• Ability to quickly comprehend complex concepts and work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a systematic work approach.
• Strong quantitative skills for effective data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent organizational skills capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
