Role overview
SAI Life Sciences is hiring for an Accounts Payable role within the finance function in Hyderabad. The position focuses on invoice scrutiny, vendor reconciliations, statutory checks, and related payable process support in a CRDMO environment.
Core accountabilities
- Handle Indian accounting entries and verify both PO-based and non-PO invoices with accuracy.
- Review agreements and validate invoices against the relevant terms and conditions.
- Build supporting workpapers for invoice and agreement review.
- Carry out vendor reconciliation and prepare balance confirmation statements.
- Apply working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Understand agreement/contract terms and the three-way match process.
- Follow up consistently on wages, employee transportation, and catering invoices.
Required competencies
- Strong command of MS Office tools, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Working familiarity with accounting software; Oracle is preferred.
