Role Overview

The Accommodation Assistant is entrusted with maintaining all lobbies and public spaces to a high standard of cleanliness. Upholding 4-star quality standards in bedrooms, corridors, and public areas is essential, in accordance with the Talbot Collection’s requirements. The role demands delivering outstanding, friendly service consistently, while embodying the values of the Talbot Collection's 'Empower Your Excellence' customer service program. The candidate will act as an ambassador for the hotel, interacting respectfully and helpfully with guests and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all public spaces while ensuring safety according to hotel health and safety policies.
• Clean carpets and floors in bedrooms and public areas attentively, using caution signage as required by health and safety procedures.
• Ensure all toilets and guest bathrooms are sanitized, cleaned, and stocked with toiletries following standard operating procedures.
• Comply thoroughly with Fire, Safety, and Hygiene regulations as well as the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005.
• Understand the correct use of various cleaning chemicals and equipment to perform tasks effectively.
• Assist guests in public areas whenever needed.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally, reporting issues to management as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in the accommodation department of a 4-star hotel is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good communication abilities.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends.
