Role Overview
Little Dot Studios APAC seeks a skilled YouTube Channel Manager to oversee multiple channels remotely, focusing on genres such as true crime, documentaries, classic movies, wildlife, history, science, reality, and lifestyle. This role requires managing content strategies, analyzing performance, optimizing videos and metadata, and collaborating with creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of various YouTube channels, reviewing analytics and recommending actionable improvements.
- Contribute actively to content strategies and coordinate with the Programming Manager to maintain consistent scheduling aligned with audience preferences.
- Create compelling titles, write optimized copy, and enhance content engagement relative to target audiences.
- Lead custom thumbnail development and SEO metadata optimization, utilizing advanced tools including generative AI to elevate content quality and reach.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to choose striking images for thumbnails.
- Support Programming and Performance Managers by preparing detailed performance reports and business analyses to inform senior management.
- Propose and help launch new channels and subgenres to expand the network's portfolio.
- Perform basic video editing and design creation for YouTube postings as required.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient with video editing software, able to use most features and resolve common problems.
- Solid understanding of YouTube algorithms and platform features to optimize content effectively.
- Skilled in analyzing platform metrics to identify trends and optimize channel performance.
- Experienced in editing videos and thumbnails across multiple platforms with an ability to adjust content formats and maximize visual appeal and engagement.
- Knowledgeable in SEO to develop metadata strategies aligned with content goals using tools like A/B testing and TubeBuddy.
