Job Overview

The Yard Associate role at Sunbelt Rentals involves managing the placement and retrieval of equipment within the facility. This position requires maintaining maintenance schedules, performing equipment servicing to meet specifications, and inspecting equipment before and after rentals to record any damage or losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve and position equipment on site effectively.
• Maintain written maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is serviced as needed.
• Inspect equipment pre- and post-rental to document conditions and note any losses or damage.

Qualification and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with construction and industrial tools is advantageous.
• Some practical experience or training in mechanical equipment repair is desirable.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
• Basic mathematical abilities including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Mechanical aptitude and an emphasis on workplace safety.
• Possession of bilingual skills, such as Spanish, may be required depending on location.

Physical Requirements
