Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable Yard & Store Personnel to join our Jandakot workshop team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This role involves managing day-to-day yard and store operations including prepping equipment for deployment to client sites, managing freight arrangements, and ensuring the yard remains tidy and well-organised.
This position offers a stable workplace with potential for paid overtime during busy periods and presents avenues for career growth in operations, site roles, and apprenticeships.
Requirements and Experience
- Possession of a Construction White Card is mandatory.
- A current Australian driver's license (Class C - Manual) is essential.
- Holding a High Risk Forklift Licence for LF forklifts, including experience with high reach forklifts.
- Demonstrated experience operating in warehouse or yard environments.
- Ability to perform effectively both independently and cooperatively within a team.
- A strong dedication to health and safety standards at work.
- Good literacy skills including reading and writing.
- Experience in general housekeeping and maintaining yard cleanliness.
- Basic competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
- Experience with freight booking and purchase order creation is advantageous.
