The Workplace Operations Program Manager leads and scales key initiatives throughout the Workplace Operations organization, collaborating across geographic and functional boundaries. This position oversees program ownership end-to-end while establishing the necessary framework, processes, and tools to enable efficient, standardized operations on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs with an international reach, driving them from conception through ongoing implementation and continual enhancement.
• Create and sustain program policies, procedures, playbooks, and operating standards that support consistent Workplace Operations delivery across regions and departments.
• Lead cross-team initiatives partnering closely with various organizational units to ensure Workplace Operations priorities are clearly communicated, aligned, and achieved.
• Identify and close gaps in current program offerings by innovating solutions, often without existing guidelines.
• Develop and expand operational tools, workflows, and internal resources to boost team productivity and ensure a uniform employee experience.
• Establish frameworks for measuring performance, analyze data and feedback to evaluate programs, inform decisions, and highlight enhancement opportunities.
• Contribute to internal team goals, roadmaps, and operational models to strengthen overall efficiency.
• Oversee vendor relationships to ensure program delivery meets Airbnb’s standards.
• Act as a strategic advisor to Workplace Operations leadership on priorities, team capacity, and program strategies.
• Effectively communicate complex operational concepts across all organizational levels, providing clear instructions and actionable guidance.

Skills & Expertise Required

• 8 to 10+ years’ experience in program management, workplace operations, or similar fields with a successful track record of managing multiple complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Global program management experience that involves coordinating diverse teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders across regions.
• Strong aptitude for systems thinking and designing processes that create clarity and structure in dynamic, uncertain environments.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Expertise in drafting policies, playbooks, and operational tools suited for dispersed teams.
• Advanced analytical abilities leveraging data to track program efficacy and guide strategic choices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at customizing messages for various audiences.
• Experience with project and program management technologies such as Airtable, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of AI tools and emerging tech that can enhance workflows and facilitate better decision-making.
• Customer-focused mindset dedicated to delivering exceptional employee experiences.
• Comfortable working autonomously within a high-profile setting involving engagement with senior stakeholders.

This position requires presence at Airbnb’s San Francisco office as dictated by business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $156,000 to $193,000 USD annually. Compensation includes potential bonuses, equity options, benefits, and employee travel credits. The base pay is influenced by relevant experience, skills, and market factors and is subject to future adjustments.
