Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking Waste Collectors of all genders to join our team at multiple locations across Hamburg's city area as soon as possible. The role involves flexible shift arrangements across seven operation yards in the greater Hamburg region, contributing to maintaining the city's cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Emptying garbage bins throughout the city.
  • Cleaning streets and green spaces.
  • Post-event cleanup activities.
  • Collecting bulky waste and other disposal materials.
  • Handling various cleaning tools and removing all types of dirt.
  • Taking responsibility for cleanliness on streets and public green areas in Hamburg.

Candidate Profile

  • Enjoyment and willingness to perform physical work.
  • Readiness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Availability for rotating shift schedules and weekend work.
  • Good command of the German language.
  • Possession of driving licence class B is mandatory; class C/CE preferred but training for missing modules is provided.
  • Punctual, reliable, flexible, and team-oriented work attitude.
