Company overview

The business runs six branches in Kenya: Thika, Karatina, Machakos, Mlolongo, Kitui, and Ruaka. Through these locations, it provides vehicle sales, after-sales support, and spare parts. Its product range includes F-Series, N-Series, MV buses, D-Max pick-ups, EXZ heavy commercial trucks, and MUX-7 vehicles, serving commercial and private customers across the country.
Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Thika focused on managing the day-to-day warehouse activity for spare parts and related inventory. The role calls for strong control over stock, documentation, storage, and dispatch processes to keep parts available for workshop and sales needs.
The Warehouse Controller will partner with procurement, finance, and service teams to support smooth inventory flow, ensure stock is stored and labeled correctly, supervise warehouse staff, track movements, carry out stock counts, maintain system records, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards. The role also includes improving processes, following company procedures, and producing regular performance reports.

- Perform monthly physical checks and spot audits, then resolve any stock variances within 48 hours.
- Set up and maintain organized storage methods for automotive parts classification.
- Track inventory levels and work with the Parts Manager on reorder needs.
- Apply FIFO stock rotation and maintain minimum and maximum stock thresholds to reduce shortages and excess stock.
- Prepare inventory updates and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support a 99.5% order accuracy rate and keep average order turnaround below 2 hours.
- Oversee the receiving, inspection, logging, and storage of incoming parts and accessories.
- Ensure spare parts are picked, packed, and dispatched correctly and on time to workshops, sales points, and customers.
- Improve warehouse layout and track productivity and efficiency indicators.
- Handle fragile and hazardous automotive materials according to safe handling practices.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- Professional certification in warehousing, supply chain, or inventory management is also required.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management is mandatory, ideally in the motor industry or a busy spare parts environment.
- Hands-on experience using ERP platforms and warehouse management systems is required.
Additional notes
This role is focused on warehouse control for spare parts operations and requires close coordination with internal business teams to maintain service levels and inventory readiness.
