Role Overview

The Waiter role at Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment involves delivering top-tier food and beverage service to guests at VOX Cinemas, ensuring a welcoming environment and a memorable cinema dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly to create a hospitable atmosphere.
• Provide menus and assist patrons in selecting offerings.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Serve items promptly with professionalism.
• Prepare and maintain tables before and after service, keeping them clean and orderly.
• Inform customers about menu options, ingredients, and current promotions.
• Encourage additional food and drink purchases to boost sales.
• Handle guest questions, feedback, and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.
• Maintain tidiness and organization in all service areas.
• Comply fully with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Assist with stock management including rotation and replenishment.
• Provide additional support during busy times or special events.
• Follow VOX Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment service protocols and policies.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of experience in the food and beverage or hospitality sector; prior cinema or restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic, guest-focused environment under pressure.
• Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strict adherence to hygiene, personal grooming, and uniform guidelines at all times.
