Transporter

Overview

This role involves providing courteous and safe transportation of patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital facility. The transporter ensures that necessary items are delivered punctually to support patient care needs and contributes to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, equipment, and supplies across the hospital promptly to meet patient care requirements.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe environment for all patients and staff by ensuring cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols.
• Record all patient transport activities accurately in departmental logs.
• Inspect transport equipment before use to confirm it is functioning properly and safely.
• Accomplish assigned objectives and duties within set guidelines.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a hospital or customer service setting is required.
• Educational background equivalent to completing four years of high school or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is necessary.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
