Trainee Technician - Korea

Programme Overview

Successful candidates will enter a 12-month training track that blends classroom learning with hands-on practice, with the exact structure guided by academic background. The programme is designed to build the technical foundation needed to work as an Aircraft Technician. After completing training successfully, you will move into an Aircraft Technician role, carrying out aircraft maintenance, servicing, and overhaul work. High performers may progress further into Certifying Technician roles, and a smaller number may later qualify as Licensed Aircraft Engineers.

Training Structure

• Classroom sessions covering selected aircraft-related modules, with an examination at the end of each module.
• Practical on-the-job training within the Base Maintenance or Line Maintenance division.

Training Obligations

• Graduates of the programme must commit to working with the company for 3 years after training, under the training bond.
• If training is not completed successfully, or if the minimum 3-year service commitment is not fulfilled, training expenses of up to S$50,000 may be recoverable as liquidated damages.

Requirements

• An Engineering Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised college or university is required.
• English fluency and strong communication ability are essential.
• Candidates must be prepared to move to Singapore.
• A strong interest in aviation and technical work is expected.
• A positive attitude and a hardworking approach are important.
• Applicants must be able to distinguish colours for work-related tasks.
