Role overview
A media organization in Patna is looking for a Trainee Journalist to support reporting, news gathering, and content production for digital and newsroom channels.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly stipend/salary of ₹8,000 to ₹10,000.
Qualification
Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism from a recognized institution.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open to freshers as well as candidates who have completed internships. The ideal candidate should have strong Hindi writing and communication skills. Knowledge of English will be an added benefit. Familiarity with Delhi's news, current affairs, and media environment is also expected, along with a genuine interest in journalism, reporting, and digital media.
Key responsibilities
- Support the team with news collection, reporting work, and written content creation.
- Track and cover updates on local as well as national news.
- Work closely with the editorial staff and assist in coordination.
- Draft material for the news portal and social media platforms.
- Contribute to routine newsroom operations and daily workflows.
