Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Territory Account Manager to drive new business growth. This pivotal role involves leading sales efforts for Forcepoint’s software licensing, appliances, and services within your designated territory. You will collaborate closely with leadership and internal teams to successfully expand and nurture customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive acquisition of new clients and expand existing customer relationships through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint products and services.
- Partner with the Regional Director to craft and execute detailed territory and opportunity plans that align with company objectives and sales quotas.
- Coordinate effectively with sales engineers, channel partners, solutions sales teams, and executives to implement strategic account plans.
- Utilize the CRM system to manage sales pipelines, forecast opportunities, and oversee the closure of deals.
- Navigate complex sales cycles employing multiple go-to-market approaches to maximize revenue.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record as a high-performing hunter with extensive experience selling IT security software and/or network technologies.
- Strong skills in relationship management coupled with experience generating new business.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and grow sales accounts.
- Consistent achievement against sales quotas.
- Experience engaging C-level and executive decision-makers and presenting to senior leadership.
- Familiarity working with channel partners alongside direct business development.
- Capability to collaborate with internal sales teams, including sales specialists and engineers, and external partners at various levels.
- Knowledge of sales techniques such as TAS and SPIN methodologies.
- Excellent time management, analytical, forecasting, and communication abilities.
- Experience selling across multiple industry verticals.
