Tender Manager (m/w/d) – Public Sector

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tender Manager / Bid Manager (m/w/d) to expand our business in the public sector. This role will take ownership of identifying, managing, and controlling public tenders, with a particular focus on public administration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate relevant tender platforms to identify suitable public tenders.
• Independently analyze, assess, and process public tenders, including leveraging AI tools.
• Coordinate the full bid management process from tender analysis to timely submission of offers.
• Develop, ensure quality, and compile tender documents in close collaboration with sales, product management, legal, data protection, and other departments.
• Manage internal alignment processes ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain and improve tender documentation, text modules, and knowledge databases.
• Analyze tender results and derive opportunities for process optimization.
• Support the advancement of our public sector sales strategy.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed degree (e.g., public administration studies, business law, business administration) or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Proven track record in handling public sector tenders, preferably in the IT or SaaS domain.
• Strong knowledge of German, and ideally European, procurement laws.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly and precisely express complex information.
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, and detail-conscious work style.
• Team player with strong communication capabilities.
