About the Role
Luceo is an AI-enabled learning and school administration platform that is reshaping education across Africa. The product already supports thousands of schools, teachers, and learners, and the company is looking for a practical Product Manager who can not only shape what gets built, but also confirm it is ready for release.
This position combines product leadership with quality assurance ownership. You will guide the roadmap, prioritize what matters most, and personally help ensure each release meets a strong quality standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product direction and roadmap planning across Luceo’s B2G, B2B, and B2C offerings.
- Convert feedback from teachers, students, and school administrators into clear, ranked product requirements.
- Partner closely with engineering to define scope, set priorities, and deliver features.
- Establish and monitor product performance metrics such as adoption, engagement, and retention.
- Embed the company’s “Teacher-in-Control” AI approach into everyday product decisions.
- Create and run test plans for releases, including functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Evaluate AI-driven features for reliability, safety, and consistency.
- Investigate bugs, document findings, and follow issues through to closure.
- Develop a lean QA process that can scale with the team, including automation where it adds value.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, QA, or a blended role, preferably within EdTech, SaaS, or platform products.
- Strong ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical limitations.
- Practical experience in testing; exposure to tools such as Postman, Playwright, or Cypress is advantageous.
- Excellent eye for detail and a strong commitment to shipping reliable products.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Extra advantage if you have worked on AI/ML products or public-sector implementations.
