Role Overview

The Technical Chief of Staff will be a key operational leader in the Network Engineering team, bridging engineering execution, project oversight, and cross-team communication. This person will ensure prioritized initiatives progress smoothly, teams align effectively, and internal and external stakeholders remain well informed. Success requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage people and processes under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and facilitate Network Engineering department priorities, maintaining momentum and identifying obstacles promptly.
• Act as the main communication conduit with other departments to coordinate and sustain cross-functional efforts.
• Lead project management linked to corporate goals involving Network Engineering, including milestone and timeline tracking.
• Oversee the engineering ticket system, managing ticket flow, staffing adequacy, and performance.
• Liaise directly with external building stakeholders and internal teams about network performance, outages, and ongoing concerns.
• Serve as the communication bridge between engineering leadership and broader organization to maintain consistent, timely information exchange.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations, or related experience.
• Demonstrated strong ownership, proactive initiative, and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities under a fast-moving workload.
• Advanced analytical skills and enthusiasm for quickly learning technical concepts.
• Outstanding communication abilities, capable of conveying technical matters to non-technical audiences such as building stakeholders.
• Prior telecom, ISP, networking, project management, or technical operations experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a yearly base salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, with additional bonus potential reflecting experience and expertise.
