Teamcenter Developer

Role Overview

The position is for a Teamcenter Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience, based in Hyderabad, Telangana (with possible locations including Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, and Bhubaneswar). The role involves developing, customizing, and implementing PLM solutions using the Teamcenter platform and related technologies.

Job Responsibilities and Technical Requirements

• Develop software components utilizing ITK (C/C++), SOA (Java), or ReactJS for the Active Workspace Client (AWC).
• Create detailed process workflows for document approvals and change management within Teamcenter.
• Customize Teamcenter 13.x environment, including ITK programming, SOA services, and Active Workspace Client (AWC) 5.x implementation.
• Utilize Business Modeler IDE to develop and modify item definitions, forms, and rules for Teamcenter.
• Set up replica, test, and prototype environments modeled on production systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in both server-side and client-side customizations, especially AWC customization.
• Manage Teamcenter hosting on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Lead integration activities with SAP (T4S), ECAD/Allegro/OrCAD (EDA), and SolidWorks (SWIM).
• Implement effective Teamcenter Change and Document Management processes.
• Possess deep experience in TcUA development, with a decade of relevant background.
• Collaborate effectively in multi-vendor environments.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Specialist knowledge in Teamcenter PLM and Active Workspace upgrades and implementations.
• Hands-on experience in Teamcenter 13.x and AWC 5.x along with ITK, BMIDE, and SOA customization.
• Strong background in setting up environments mirroring production for testing and prototyping.
• Proficiency in cloud hosting of Teamcenter on MS Azure.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP, EDA tools, and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with change and document management modules within Teamcenter.
• Expertise across multiple vendor contexts and platforms.
• Domain experience in Life Sciences and Medical Devices industries adds value.
• Comfortable working within Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, understanding their respective deliverables and cycles.

General Managerial Skills

• Understanding of domain requirements in Life Sciences and Medical Devices sectors.
• Experience applying Agile and Waterfall frameworks to project deliverables.
