Job description

Position Overview

This role requires leading a team to ensure seamless collaboration in delivering excellent service that meets guest expectations. The role involves completing opening and closing duties such as supply preparation, equipment cleaning, and securing facilities. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the workday is essential, along with following proper cleaning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor dining areas to assess available seating, service quality, guest safety, and welfare.
  • Submit maintenance repair requests or coordinate directly with relevant departments for urgent repairs.
  • Report incidents or accidents involving employees, guests, or suppliers immediately to management and Loss Prevention.
  • Effectively communicate and document important information within departmental channels.
  • Assist management in employee hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisals, counseling, discipline, motivation, and serve as a role model.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly; complete mandatory safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniforms and personal appearance remain clean and professional at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company assets.
  • Support colleagues by treating them with dignity and respect, fostering teamwork to achieve shared goals.
  • Meet quality assurance standards and expected performance levels.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving or lifting items up to 22.5 kg independently; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; visually inspect information and equipment; manipulate various-sized objects with fine motor skills; reach above head and below knees; navigate confined or elevated spaces; and manage stairs or ramps.
  • Welcome guests per company standards and communicate clearly and professionally, including phone etiquette and responding appropriately to coworkers' concerns.
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational background equivalent to a high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar environment.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No specific licences or certifications mandated.
