Role Summary
We seek an energetic Talent Sourcer to proactively build talent pipelines essential for our expansion. This role involves close collaboration with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to grasp hiring needs, assess talent landscapes, and identify outstanding candidates across many functions. Ideal candidates are passionate about talent discovery, market analysis, and cultivating strong recruitment partnerships to ensure hiring success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to find top candidates.
- Develop and maintain quality talent pipelines for present and future hiring requirements.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to source, evaluate, and present qualified candidates effectively.
- Create effective outreach strategies that drive high engagement and positive company impressions.
- Provide insights on market trends, compensation, competitor hiring, and talent availability.
- Work alongside recruiters and hiring managers as a trusted expert in talent sourcing and research.
- Ensure an engaging and positive experience for candidates throughout sourcing and outreach phases.
- Adopt and leverage new sourcing technologies, AI tools, and market intelligence platforms to enhance talent identification and engagement.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience sourcing talents across diverse functions using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
- Keen interest in innovative talent acquisition methods including AI, automation, and data-driven sourcing to optimize talent discovery and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to build and engage proactive talent pipelines targeting passive candidates across departments.
- Strong capabilities in research, talent mapping, and gathering market intelligence.
- Excellent written communication skills capable of producing personalized candidate outreach.
- Effective relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset when working with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Analytical mindset with curiosity about talent markets, hiring trends, and competitive environments.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding candidate experiences.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position at the Waterloo, Canada location is between 80,000 and 100,000 CAD annually. Note that actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation mentioned may include base salary plus variable components when applicable.
