Role overview
Born Bred Talent is seeking a driven and imaginative Talent Manager in Sydney to own and grow a creator portfolio. The role suits someone who is highly active on social platforms, understands what makes content perform well, and enjoys developing strong working relationships with brands, agencies, and talent.
In this position, you will manage your own group of creators while also supporting wider talent management operations with guidance from the team. Success in the role requires confidence in a busy, fast-moving setting, the ability to juggle several projects at once, and a strong eye for polished, high-performing content.
What you will do
- Build and run outreach plans that connect clients with suitable influencer opportunities.
- Maintain existing creator relationships while also forming new ones, and oversee your own portfolio of talent.
- Recommend fitting influencers to clients and agencies, then negotiate deliverables and fees to support successful campaigns.
- Ensure agreements are accurate, deliverables are completed, and campaigns progress smoothly from start to finish.
- Work directly with clients and agencies, including in-person meetings and Zoom WIPs, while keeping clear notes and sending follow-up emails.
- Track competitor and market activity, then turn those observations into fresh, sellable ideas for your talent.
What we are looking for
- Experience across social media, talent management, media/PR, or influencer marketing is preferred, though a willingness to learn is equally important.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to manage time well and meet tight deadlines.
- A professional, personable approach when dealing with clients and partners.
- An agile mindset with the confidence to adapt quickly.
- Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing and social media.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to contribute positively to the team.
