As we expand our boutique in Dubai, we are seeking a talented Tailor & Pattern Maker to become part of our prestigious team.

Role Overview

This on-site, full-time position based in Dubai involves creating, refining, and finalizing patterns for couture evening gowns to ensure impeccable fit and flawless construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately measuring clients to gather precise data.
• Handcrafting bespoke patterns tailored to individual measurements.
• Manually modifying existing patterns and garments for perfect fit.
• Engaging in client fittings to assess garment fit, assembly, and design.
• Detecting and resolving fitting issues effectively.
• Adjusting, grading, and altering patterns by hand as needed.
• Conducting garment repairs and alterations.
• Meeting project deadlines consistently.
• Collaborating closely with the Boutique Manager throughout production.
• Availability to work on weekends occasionally, with compensatory leave provided during the week.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree or professional certification in tailoring, pattern making, garment technology, or similar disciplines.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
• Proficiency in manual pattern creation, especially for eveningwear, corsetry, and couture garments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
• Experience performing garment alterations and repairs.
• Familiarity with technical garment construction terminology.
• Fluency in Russian is essential.
• Competency in English at B1 level or higher.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Dubai.
• Preparedness to undertake a brief practical skills assessment during recruitment.
