Key Responsibilities
- Accurate layout and set out of building components according to construction drawings.
- Perform continuous inspections during construction to confirm precise spatial placement of elements.
- Extracting survey data from digital project documentation.
- Conduct surveys to verify the final positioning of relevant building components upon completion.
- Provide daily detailed reports of completed activities.
- Report on final installation locations to verify compliance with construction tolerances.
- Utilize reality capture technologies, including 3D laser scanning, to collect data.
- Process survey datasets to generate outputs usable by project teams.
- Adhere to and consider construction Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in surveying, geomatics, or civil engineering.
- Two to three years of practical experience in surveying.
- Proficiency with professional surveying instruments and equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and understanding complex construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with construction management, engineers, and onsite teams.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of Autodesk suite applications such as AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
