Role Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic intermediary between supply chain teams and technical departments to ensure system alignment with business goals.
• Lead the creation and deployment of supply chain technologies and platforms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance supply chain data visibility, automation, and enablement end-to-end.
• Maintain a strong process-driven approach by setting and upholding standards for internal data integrity and control.
• Advise functional leaders by sharing expertise on best practices and the latest technology trends.
• Coordinate production schedules by working with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics for timely delivery and optimal inventory and resource use.
• Analyze past sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to produce reliable demand forecasts that inform procurement and align supply capabilities with business needs.
• Manage site-wide planning while integrating supply chain requirements into strategic and operational plans.
• Develop and sustain planning tools such as dashboards and trackers to aid cross-functional decision-making.
• Ensure proper governance over master data including materials, bills of materials, recipes, and resources.
• Oversee procurement planning and implement safety stock methods to fulfill production needs.
• Promote continuous improvement and accountability within the supply chain department.
• Chair supply chain meetings focused on resolving production delays and shortages; direct materials and production planning to secure product availability and prompt shipping.
• Troubleshoot supply chain and vendor-related technical challenges.
• Work collaboratively across teams to align business operations and warehousing with short- and long-term objectives.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, customers, and external partners, including during audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree coupled with over 10 years of advancing experience in supply chain management.
• At least 5 years of experience in team building and leadership roles.
• Preferred experience in supporting manufacturing operations within the life sciences sector.
• Capacity to connect technical team skills to business outcomes effectively.
• Proficiency with planning processes such as demand management, forecasting tools, manufacturing orders, and bills of materials.
• Practical knowledge in managing comprehensive supply chain processes from procurement through distribution.
• Strong analytical skills combined with strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
