Store Supervisor (Full-Time)

About the Role

SPAR Birr Railway Road is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Store Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, foster team motivation, maintain superior store conditions, and ensure top-notch customer service at all times.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with daily store activities ensuring smooth operations.
• Lead, encourage, and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Maintain excellent standards of store cleanliness, presentation, and product availability.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Perform cash handling duties including till reconciliation effectively and accurately.
• Fulfill key holder responsibilities including opening and closing the store as needed.
• Support various store functions including retail sales, checkout, fresh foods, and deli sections.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
• Experience with cash handling is beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good organization and problem-solving capabilities.
• Dependability, flexibility, and self-motivation are essential traits.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP standards is an advantage.
